35 miles, what’s that all about then? Well it’s the distance of the mountain bike ride I am undertaking in July on the South downs in England.
35 miles sounds easy, and it probably is for most reasonable fit people. It took me just under 5 hours to complete last time I rode the course this time under 4 hours is the target.
Starting at Devils Dyke there approximately 35 miles and 3200ft of climbs until the finish in Eastbourne.
I plan to make regular updates on my training progress and hopefully that will help keep me focused.

Good luck with the ride, I am currently considering doing this ride myself actually !
